What I do
I work with service users at our centres, helping them practise or relearn skills that may have been affected by a brain injury. I also support them on outreach, assisting them to identify and work towards enriching goals.
Skills and experience
Before working at Headway, I worked as a Community Champion at a large supermarket chain. As part of that role, I organised fundraising in store and visited local charities – helping out and providing instruction and store donations for cooking sessions – this was how I became involved at Headway
Interests and hobbies
I like gardening, cooking and vising historic houses and gardens. I’m also a committee member for the breast cancer support group at Southmead Hospital.
