Brain injury identity card

A brain injury identity card is used to clearly communicate the hidden effects of a brain injury to others, providing the cardholder with confidence and helping them get the correct support from police, medical staff, and the public. It’s a simple way to explain difficulties and symptoms in potentially stressful situations, which can help to prevent confusion and misunderstanding. These cards are recognised by police forces, NHS staff and other public and private service providers across the UK. Visit Headway UK’s page to learn more about the brain injury identity card and apply.
