Every year we are challenged to raise around £200k in funds to help deliver our Day Centre, Community Outreach, Carers & Support and Young Peoples’ services and next year will be no exception.

This year we are very proud to be celebrating our 40th Anniversary and in order to achieve all that we want to do, we have created two brand new roles in our Fundraising Team as below:

You will help identify new donor partners and supporters through effective communications campaigns, events, general marketing and PR, directed at various supporters to include corporates, individual donors, volunteers and staff.

Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, Community & Events and Donor Care fundraisers, you will be responsible for delivering effective fundraising campaigns through the use of social media, website and paper streams. You will also manage a programme of media engagement including media releases and the update and production of marketing materials.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates previous experience in writing, editing, coordinating and publishing content across various channels including our website. Experience of MS Office is required and experience of CRM and design systems such as InDesign, Salesforce and Publisher would be a distinct advantage (although training can be provided).

Responsible for developing our unique Headway Bristol brand, you will be confident liaising with designers, publishers and other suppliers and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.  As part of the team, you will help gather information and data on a regular basis to help support the Charity’s reporting and outcomes.
